(Senior) Software Architect (m/f/d) in Dresden

Your tasks

• advising product management and clients on appropriate business and technical solutions
• co-developing our platform and products architecture
• design and modeling of customer-specific solutions
• overall technical responsibility for projects and management of the development team
• supporting the acquisition phase through technical and functional expertise
• valid estimation of work packages
• making technology decisions in coordination with chief architect
• planning and conception of the technical infrastructure and server landscape
• participation in standardization committees (e.g. EE-Bus)
• representation of Kiwigrid at external events and conferences
• tool selection
• qualification of non-functional requirements and monitoring of related KPIs
• supporting the HR team with recruitment
• co-development of the technological strategy and roadmap
• responsibility for the continuing, proactive development of processes

Your Profile

• minimum 5 years’ experience working on complex IT projects and architectures
• very good knowledge of software development techniques and methodologies, best practices, technologies and related tool landscape
• solid experience of Kubernetes, Java, messaging, web standards, GCP, Linux, network topologies and Domain Driven Design
• solid knowledge of requirements management
• abstract thinking, conceptual design
• solution-oriented work
• keen eye for quality control
• solid communication skills to discuss and defend concepts and processes
• ability to inspire colleagues about technologies and create standardized processes
• up-to-date knowledge of technical trends, industry developments and competitors
• good knowledge of measurement and control technology and NoSQL is desirable
• Strong understanding of both written and spoken German and English
